Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Technical Delivery Leader - Mining to provide technical leadership across mining projects, leading design and planning from concept through feasibility and execution. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and deliver practical, value-driven solutions for clients.

The role emphasizes open-pit and underground design, life-of-mine planning, risk management, and mentoring junior engineers within a global firm focused on safe, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of mining engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Develop/open pit and/or underground mine designs across project stages.
• Prepare life-of-mine plans and production schedules for economic evaluations.
• Optimize mine plans through trade-off studies and scenario evaluation.
• Design and coordinate supporting mine infrastructure systems (haul roads, waste facilities, stockpiles).
• Lead or support mining engineering workstreams and mentor junior engineers.
