Bechtel Corporation in Santiago seeks an experienced Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineer to lead and coordinate engineering activities on mining and metals projects. You will supervise engineering personnel, manage technical execution, and ensure deliverables meet project requirements, codes, and Bechtel procedures within schedule and budget.

You will provide technical leadership, coordinate with clients and offices, review calculations and drawings, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
Extensive experience in Control Systems and Instrumentation engineering for industrial or Mining and Metals projects.
Strong knowledge of distributed control systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and automation.
Ability to plan, supervise, coordinate, and review engineering activities including staffing and budgeting.

Supervises engineers, designers, and drafters; estimates staffing and schedules.
Prepares or oversees work plans, budgets, and staffing plans; monitors performance.
Coordinates with clients, project engineering, suppliers, and Bechtel offices.
