Job summary
Emerson seeks an experienced Senior Engineer to design, implement and lead control system projects across Latin America, including offshore and onshore facilities. The role requires leading technical teams, ensuring quality, and delivering FAT/SAT, commissioning and startup activities across multiple sites.
You will collaborate with regional offices, support project execution, and mentor engineers while promoting productivity tools and continuous improvement in complex O&G, chemical and mining
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in related field.
- Travel time up to 60%.
- Intermediate level of English.
- Portuguese is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in DCS or PLC/SCADA in Industrial Automation.
- At least 6 Technical Lead roles of medium size projects (>2000 I/O points).
- 8+ Years of Power Industry experience with turbine startup, commissioning, and performance testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement hardware database, logics, graphics and datalinks.
- Review application documentation for quality, accuracy and completeness.
- Lead project technical teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Perform FAT, SAT, commissioning and startup activities.
- Mentor SMEs and lead in areas of expertise.
- Supervise remote engineering teams across regions.
