Job summary

Emerson Chile seeks a Senior Control Systems Engineer to design and implement hardware databases, logics, graphics and datalinks for power and process plants. You will lead project tasks, coordinate with global offices, and supervise commissioning activities.

The role requires 10+ years in DCS/PLC/SCADA, strong leadership, and travel up to 60%. Proficiency in English is required; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware database, logics, graphics and datalinks.
• Lead project tasks and coordinate with remote teams (India, Cluj, etc.).
• Perform FAT, SAT, commissioning and startup activities.
• Review technical documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Track progress, budget and risk; deliver weekly reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement.
