Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler in Antofagasta to collaborate with the project team on schedule data for project execution. You will develop schedules, update existing schedules, run what-if scenarios, and forecast outcomes to ensure timely project delivery.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in Engineering with substantial EPC scheduling experience, and familiarity with Primavera or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or international equivalent) with 8–10 years in Project Controls focusing on planning and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of EPC scheduling, control, and analysis in field and office environments.
• Experience developing EPC schedules from scratch; proficient with engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth schedule analysis of contractor and master schedules and identify mitigations.
• Update and maintain the project master schedule with correct logical relationships.
• Establish and monitor milestones; ensure critical path visibility and actionable early actions.
• Issue alerts on quantity or work changes that may affect cost and deadlines.
• Develop, implement, and maintain resource loading and schedule leveling; manage manpower curves.
• Coordinate schedule inputs from disciplines/contractors and resolve timeline constraints.
• Produce and present schedule reports; support recovery plan development.
