Adecco Chile is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive – Power & Utilities to lead commercial growth in Chile's electricity sector. You will drive the strategy, build ties with key distributors and develop new business opportunities across energy solutions.

Role includes coordinating with our headquarters in China and traveling to meet clients. Strong network and B2B negotiation skills are essential for success in this senior role.

Formación

• University degree in electrical, energy, or related field.
• At least 5 years experience in Chile's electricity sector.
• Experience with major distributors (CGE, Chilquinta, Enel, SAESA) preferred.
• Solid knowledge of market, tenders and project development.
• Proven experience in B2B sales and negotiations.
• Established professional network in Chile's electricity sector.
• Willingness to travel within Chile.

Responsabilidades

Senior Business Development Executive – Power & Utilities

At Adecco, we are looking for a Senior Business Development Executive – Power & Utilities to join a leading international company specializing in electrical equipment and energy solutions.

This is your opportunity to drive business growth in Chile and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the energy industry.

Lead the company's business development efforts in Chile by managing strategic accounts and generating new commercial opportunities, primarily in electricity distribution, smart metering, grid automation, and energy solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy in Chile.
• Build and strengthen relationships with the country's leading electricity distributors, particularly CGE, Chilquinta, Enel, and SAESA.
• Establish strong connections with key decision-makers and technical, commercial, procurement, and project teams within strategic accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities, projects, tenders, and customer investment plans.
• Manage the sales pipeline, from opportunity identification through to closing.
• Promote smart metering, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), distribution automation, and other products and solutions for electrical networks.
• Develop additional business opportunities in solar energy, energy storage, and other energy solutions.
• Coordinate with technical, commercial, and product teams at the company's headquarters in China to deliver solutions tailored to local customers.
• Participate in quotation processes, tenders, commercial negotiations, and contract follow-up.
• Analyze the Chilean electricity market, customers, competitors, and emerging business opportunities.
• Develop and manage relationships with local partners and sales channels when required.

What We’re Looking For

• University degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Energy, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Chile's electricity sector, power distribution, or energy industry.
• Strong preference will be given to candidates with direct professional experience at CGE, Chilquinta, Enel, SAESA, or other major electricity distribution companies in Chile.
• Candidates from suppliers, manufacturers, or system integrators who have worked directly and extensively with these companies will also be considered.
• Solid knowledge of the Chilean electricity market, procurement processes, tenders, and project development.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, key account development, and commercial negotiations.
• An established professional network within Chile's electricity sector.
• Ability to independently develop customer relationships and generate new business opportunities.
• Willingness to travel for business within Chile when required.
