Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a SIEM Engineer to operate and optimize SIEM platforms, turning raw logs into actionable security intelligence and building real-time detection layers.

You will design and maintain Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar, tune correlation rules, create live dashboards, and automate alert pipelines in collaboration with the SOC team. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and competitive USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Security Operations or SIEM engineering.
• Proven expertise operating SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar.
• Proficiency in building correlation rules, dashboards, and alert pipelines for threat detection.
• Strong background in log analysis and security monitoring within enterprise environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain SIEM platforms to centralize security monitoring.
• Develop and fine-tune correlation rules and statistical algorithms for log relationships.
• Build and customize security dashboards and live visualizations for threat activity.
• Engineer automated alert pipelines and response workflows to reduce mean time to detect and respond.
• Collaborate with the SOC team to map detection coverage against threat frameworks.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness by generating automated reports and maintaining data retention policies.
