Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Compliance Engineer to align our technical operations with global governance and security standards. You will serve as the link between engineering and regulatory requirements, ensuring secure, ethical, and auditable systems.

Your role includes leading frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI, conducting risk assessments, and drafting policy documentation. This position offers 100% remote work and competitive compensation in USD or local currency.

Qualifications

4+ years in Compliance Engineering, Governance, Risk or Info Security.
Proven expertise in SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI frameworks.
Experience with risk assessments, control mapping, and internal audits.
Policy writing and documentation for technical compliance.
Audit support and regulatory reporting experience.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation and maintenance of SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI.
Design and execute risk assessments and control mapping to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Author and manage technical policies and documentation to ensure regulatory adherence.
Coordinate internal audits and support external examinations to maintain compliance.
Manage regulatory reporting channels and provide insights into risk profiles.
Partner with technical teams to integrate compliance controls into development and infrastructure lifecycles.
