BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Elasticsearch to design and operate scalable search infrastructure for large datasets. You will build and optimize indexing, relevance tuning, and Lucene-based services to power fast, accurate data discovery across projects.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, own cluster health, capacity planning, and deployments, while enjoying 100% remote work, flexible hours, and a multicultural, mentorship-driven environment.

Formación

• 4+ years of software engineering experience focused on search infrastructure.
• Proficiency in building and operating Elasticsearch-powered search systems.
• Experience designing index strategies and relevance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch cluster management and Lucene.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable Elasticsearch architectures and indexing strategies for complex datasets.
• Optimize search relevance through advanced tuning of analyzers, mappings, and scoring functions.
• Manage and scale production-grade Elasticsearch clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain search-related microservices and integrations using Lucene-based technologies.
• Monitor cluster health and perform capacity planning to support growing data and query volumes.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define search requirements and improve data discoverability.
