BairesDev seeks a Hadoop Engineer to design, build and operate large-scale data platforms in a fully remote role. You will work with the Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Kafka, NiFi, HBase, Ozone and Impala to deliver high-throughput data solutions for global clients.

Formación

• 4+ years in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Big Data.
• Proven expertise with Apache Hadoop ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Java or Scala and Spark internals.
• Strong Linux administration for distributed environments.
• Experience with real-time data integration (Kafka).
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate large-scale big data platforms using Hadoop and Spark.
• Design and optimize data integration with Kafka and NiFi.
• Oversee deployment and tuning of storage layers (HBase, Ozone, Impala).
• Maintain distributed Linux environments for maximum uptime.
• Write automation and processing code in Java or Scala.
