Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As Applied AI Engineer, you will own and ship our internal automation roadmap, turning documented workflows into shipped systems.

This builder role focuses on production systems over model training, collaborating with engineering and delivery leadership. We seek candidates with 2+ years building production software in Python or Node.js, hands-on experience with LangChain/LangGraph, and proven API integration

Formación

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen).
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsabilidades

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Develop internal tools to reduce manual hours in design and development workflows.
• Create automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and internal CMS.
• Handle MCP server integrations as part of the AI stack.
