Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Director, Services Business Development, Public Sector to lead strategy and growth across assigned markets in the public sector. You will identify opportunities, build executive relationships and drive revenue through end-to-end sales cycles, coordinating with policy, product and delivery teams to realize measurable client value.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
Significant experience in business development, consultative selling or strategic account management.
Proven track record engaging senior stakeholders and closing complex B2B or B2G opportunities.
Experience with public banks, public sector agencies or similar institutions.
Fluency in English and Spanish; ability to communicate complex technical products to executives.

Responsibilities

Develop Public Sector Services strategy for assigned markets and identify high-potential opportunities.
Build and manage a robust pipeline; lead end-to-end sales activities from prospecting to contract.
Engage senior public sector clients to align Mastercard capabilities with priorities.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver proposals, pricing and commercial agreements.
Represent Mastercard in strategic client conversations, industry forums, and public sector engagements.
