Tractebel is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Critical Infrastructure & Data Center projects in Santiago, Chile (on-site). The role focuses on design, field engineering, and ensuring compliance with project standards throughout all phases.

The candidate should have 10+ years in industrial or critical infrastructure projects, strong knowledge of GIS AIS substations and electrical systems, and full professional fluency in English and Spanish. On-site work is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial or critical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of GIS & AIS substations, HV, MV, and LV systems, electrical distribution, UPS, ATS, PMS, PCU, RPPs, busducts, and diesel generators.
• Knowledge of Chilean electrical standards and regulations.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams in complex engineering environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide design and field engineering support across all project phases.
• Prepare and review technical documentation: drawings, budgets, schedules, commissioning reports.
• Act as liaison between internal stakeholders and project teams.
• Define and validate electrical design requirements with regional/owner standards.
• Address engineering requests and resolve technical issues with multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate to integrate new technologies and adapt designs to local standards.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures and oversee testing and commissioning activities.
