Fluor Constructors in Chile is seeking a procurement leader to plan, organize, and direct portions of the purchasing function on a project. You will develop purchasing activities, perform material buying, and supervise staff within the guidelines of the corporate OSR and project plans.

The role requires a four-year degree and extensive experience, with emphasis on communication, technical procurement knowledge, and time management.

Formación

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent and eight (8) years of work-related experience or equivalent combination
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge required to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, direct, and control a portion of purchasing or regional indirect procurement
• Develop purchasing activities for the project or regional procurement
• Perform material buying, expediting, or field purchasing aligned with OSR and plans
• Provide supervision to purchasing, expediting, and support staff as assigned
• Implement and monitor the Material Management Work Process to meet project requirements and schedule
• Negotiate complex equipment and bulk material packages to obtain best value for the project
• Other duties as assigned
