Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Front-End Developer with strong React expertise to build responsive, accessible web experiences and set engineering standards. You will mentor peers, lead UI decisions, and embed GenAI into daily delivery to boost speed and quality.

Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver cohesive interfaces and maintain long-term code health. This role demands hands-on coding, architecture leadership, rigorous reviews, and a passion for performance

Qualifications

5+ years of frontend development with JavaScript and React.
Proven leadership mentoring developers (1+ years).
Experience designing reusable UI architectures and scalable component libraries.
Strong code reviews with clear quality standards.
Experience coordinating with product, design, backend engineering and QA.
GenAI skills applied in delivery and prompt engineering basics.
English proficiency at B2+ level.

Responsibilities

Design responsive web apps with accessibility.
Architect reusable frontend libraries to improve scalability.
Lead UI decisions for performance and long-term code health.
Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA to deliver cohesive interfaces.
Translate UI/UX designs into React/JavaScript code and provide feedback.
Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews.
Coordinate with QA to ensure quality before releases.
Adopt GenAI tools in daily workflows and ensure outputs meet quality constraints.
Drive continuous frontend improvement and new practices.
