Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Chief JavaScript Full-Stack Engineer to lead our global AI Engineering team. You will shape the frontend strategy across web and mobile, delivering enterprise-grade AI agent capabilities with real-time streaming and low latency.

You will guide senior engineers, define reference architectures, and drive architecture governance across multiple regions while upholding accessibility and observability standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
• 2+ years of leadership experience guiding senior engineers.
• Experience across web apps, client-side SDKs, APIs, and microservices at enterprise scale.
• Proven track record with GenAI UX, real-time streaming interfaces (SSE/WebSockets).
• Strong backend development with Python and cloud-native integrations.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term frontend architecture vision and roadmaps.
• Design high-performance frontend platforms for ultra-low latency and streaming.
• Mentor lead engineers and align global teams on components and standards.
• Define AX reference architecture for web and mobile real-time interactions.
• Champion frontend observability, accessibility, and operational excellence.
