W Hotels in Santiago, Chile is seeking a Kitchen Cook to support our busy food and beverage operation. You will prepare ingredients, portion, wash, and cook according to recipes and quality standards, and maintain cleanliness.

The role requires standing for long periods, operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, and following safety procedures. High school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience are preferred; no supervisory experience required. Full-time position.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash, peel, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to determine if they are cooked sufficiently; monitor food quality.
• Set up and break down the work station and serve food in proper portions.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow safety policies; report hazards to manager; complete safety trainings.
