Marriott International – W Hotels in Santiago, Chile, is seeking a dedicated kitchen professional for a Full-Time, non-management role. You will prepare ingredients, cook foods, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience. The position requires physical stamina to stand for long periods and to lift up to 25 pounds, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and professional communication.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing.
• Wash, peel, weigh, measure and mix ingredients; prepare cold foods.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Test foods to determine if they are cooked; monitor food quality.
• Set up and break down work station; serve portions in proper receptacles.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow safety policies and report maintenance needs; complete safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance; protect company assets; communicate clearly.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Educación
