FinOps Weekly in Chile is seeking an IT Strategy & Performance Analyst to act as the operational and analytical resource for financial planning, cost transparency, and IT performance management. • 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Performance Management, or Finance Business Partnering.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, reporting, and data visualisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the IT cost allocation methodology based on the TBM structure.
• Prepare headquarters cost allocations for distribution to individual markets.
• Coordinate with budget owners to maintain consistent allocation frameworks.
• Track the P&L impact of allocations and support fair cost distribution across markets.
• Monitor IT cost structures and improve cost transparency processes.
• Coordinate budget and forecasting cycles with Finance and IT stakeholders.
• Prepare planning templates, timelines, and stakeholder sessions.
• Support month-end closing and accrual activities with Controlling.
• Act as the link between IT and Finance during planning activities.
• Review market financial performance, investigate variances, and identify relevant trends.
• Work with local IT and Finance leaders to assess financial performance.
• Produce reports and presentations that translate financial analysis into clear business insights.

IT Strategy & Performance Analyst

About the Role

The IT Strategy & Performance Analyst supports the Office of the CIO as its operational and analytical resource for financial planning, cost transparency, and IT performance management. Working at the intersection of Finance and Technology, the role contributes to IT cost allocation, financial reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. It collaborates with IT, Finance, budget owners, and market stakeholders to promote consistent and efficient financial management. The position also analyses market performance and prepares clear, C-level presentations that explain financial results, trends, variances, and their implications for future planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the IT cost allocation methodology based on the Technology Business Management (TBM) structure.
• Prepare headquarters cost allocations for distribution to individual markets.
• Coordinate with budget owners to maintain consistent allocation frameworks.
• Track the P&L impact of allocations and support fair cost distribution across markets.
• Monitor IT cost structures and improve cost transparency processes.
• Coordinate budget and forecasting cycles with Finance and IT stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Performance Management, Finance Business Partnering, or Business Analysis.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, reporting, and data visualisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work with incomplete data and convert complex financial information into clear insights.
• Ability to create well-structured presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix and international environment.
• Flexibility in a dynamic setting with changing priorities and business requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on transformation programmes or in international environments.
• Familiarity with IT environments or cost allocation methodologies.

FinOps Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve IT cost allocation structures based on TBM principles.
• Prepare headquarters-to-market cost distributions.
• Monitor allocation impacts on P&L and support equitable distribution across markets.
• Improve visibility and transparency of IT cost structures.
• Coordinate IT budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support financial reporting, month-end closing, and accrual processes.
• Analyse variances, trends, and market financial performance to inform planning.
