Job summary

Vylor is seeking a Project Leader in Arica, Chile to drive capital projects from Front-End Loading through construction, commissioning, startup and closeout. You will lead the project team using the Core PD, align engineering work with the business case, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet safety, quality and schedule goals.

The role requires 5–10 years in project execution, engineering degrees, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Project Execution.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent.
• Leadership experience in two or more areas such as manufacturing technology, operations, engineering, or project management.
• Ability to communicate in English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Team using Core PD to implement the project.
• Ensure Engineering Work Package aligns with Business Case and Technology Implementation Plan.
• Develop project execution strategies with Functional Leaders and core team.
• Meet business and project objectives and deliverables per authorization documents and gate reviews.
• Define and track KPIs: spending, costs vs estimate, milestones, schedule, commissioning plan.
• Provide clear communication with stakeholders and ensure alignment with objectives.
