Job summary

Olympus is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain all product lines for medical devices. You will work under supervision and provide expert level technical support in the field, ensuring high customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

The role requires travel, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to train customers on product usage while collaborating with sales and service teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, computer science or related technical discipline is required or minimum of 4 years of equivalent experience with medical devices or military tech.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with electromechanical / microprocessor-based products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain high customer satisfaction with assigned products.
• Respond to inquiries and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and quality systems.
• Train customers on operation and use of products.
• Provide feedback on product questions and field issues for service improvements.
• Perform installations, upgrades, testing, troubleshooting and support for all products.
