Job summary

BYD Chile is seeking a proactive professional to lead market research and network planning for fast charging in Chile. You will analyze market size, subsidy policies, business models, and profitability, and develop cost models for fast charging projects.

You will also develop local partnerships for grid upgrades, equipment installation, and on-site operations, plan network deployment, and coordinate with BYD HQ and partners to ensure timely site construction and smooth operation of all stations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial charging stations or energy storage business.
• Degree in electrical engineering or related field; familiarity with power and electrical systems and charging station operation.

Responsibilities

• Research and Analysis: Do research and analysis about the EV charging market size, subsidy policies, business models, and network planning of charging business in Chile. Make cost and profit models for fast charging.
• Partner Development: Based on the needs, develop local partners who can provide power grid upgrade, equipment installation, and on-site operation services.
• Project Planning: Analyze and formulate a reasonable network plan for fast charging stations.
• Project Management: Manage the implementation of fast charging, coordinating with BYD headquarters and Local partners. Ensure the completion of site construction.
• Operation Management: Cooperate with the partner and jointly operate all the fast charging stations to ensure normal operations.
