Allied Vision is seeking a Junior Category Manager to support strategic procurement initiatives across the global supplier network. You will help manage the product portfolio, perform AI-assisted analyses, and contribute to KPI development within a hybrid work setup.

The role requires strong data skills, a background in electronics procurement, and fluency in German and English. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with suppliers to optimize costs and performance.

Formación

• Degree in business administration or engineering or related commercial/technical field.
• Several years of procurement experience in a manufacturing setting, electronics/electromechanics.
• Strong knowledge of electronics and data handling skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Category Manager in strategic development of the network of manufacturers and distributors and product group strategy.
• Develop and maintain a group-wide component portfolio database with AI-supported analyses and establish KPIs and procurement analyses.
• Prepare savings, forecast and coverage analyses in coordination with S&OP.
• Manage lifecycle, obsolescence and risk for electronic components (LTB/LTS, tools, stakeholders).
• Drive change requests and redesign/modification projects considering cost and risk.
• Support operational procurement issues including process, supplier inquiries, volume contracts and ERP data maintenance.
• Assist group-wide projects on standardised manufacturer/component selection and annual reviews.
