Job summary

Agency is seeking a Custody Operations Specialist to support onboarding plans on our client’s platform. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transfers, accurate record-keeping, and exceptional service to plan sponsors.

You will review cash and in-kind transfers, coordinate with sub-custodians for trade settlement, and perform reconciliations between trust accounting and custodian systems.

Qualifications

• Must be optimistic, flexible, creative, team-oriented, results-driven, and able to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of how mutual funds, stable value funds, and ETFs trade and settle.
• Aptitude for numbers and cash/traditional securities reconciliations.
• Proactive, analytical, organized, and dependable.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Review and record cash and in-kind asset transfers in the trust accounting system.
• Work with sub-custodians to settle trades from booking to settlement for funds.
• Perform reconciliations between the trust accounting system and sub-custodian by deadlines.
• Coordinate with Implementation Managers and Investment teams to transition plans onto the client’s platform.
• Coordinate with receiving record keepers to liquidate and transfer plan assets.
• Update, maintain, and review client data within CRM systems.
• Ensure collaboration with all internal teams to meet timelines.
• Support the creation and maintenance of written operating procedures related to assigned functions.
