Bechtel seeks a CSA Designer for the Mining & Metals team, based in Chile. The role trains to manage Bechtel CSA concrete and steel software, develops concrete models, and drafts 3-D CAD drawings while applying industry standards and Bechtel codes to a global project workflow.

As part of a diverse, safety-focused team, you will prepare design calculations and drawings, coordinate with other disciplines, and contribute to quality and teamwork.

Formación

• Requires a recognized degree in engineering or scientific discipline, and discipline experience in drafting and design.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare 2-D CAD plant layouts and study drawings for detailed 3-D CAD models and construction drawings.
• Prepare portions of 3-D CAD design models under supervision of experienced designers; Platform S3D preferred.
• Review calculations, design models and drawings prepared by others or suppliers; coordinate with other designers.
• Prepare material takeoffs and requisitions for materials in the discipline.
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines and answer client questions on design responsibilities.
