The Assistant Waiter on a cruise ship reports to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and supports the Waiter with food and beverage service. You will rotate between Buffet and Room Service to ensure courteous, prompt service and guest satisfaction.

Two+ years front waiter experience on fine dining or banquet service, strong English skills, and knowledge of wine and beverage service are required. High school diploma and safety training completed. International crew environment.

Formación

• Minimum of two years front waiter experience in fine dining or banquet service.
• Experience selling and serving wine and other beverages.
• Intermediate to advanced English verbal and writing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with achieving departmental guest satisfaction targets and food and beverage revenues by following service strategies and upsell opportunities.
• Set up assigned station with china, glassware, and mise-en-place before service.
• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest staterooms and assist with amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness and setup of stations and assist with additional duties as directed.
