Job summary

Nordex Group in Chile seeks an Area Service Manager to ensure a safe, profitable service business within their area and to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. The role collaborates with external customers, suppliers, sales and project installation management to coordinate service delivery.

The successful candidate will lead a remote field-based service team, oversee P&L and KPIs, maintain safety compliance, and review market opportunities for new contracts and aftermarket sales to grow

Qualifications

• Formal leadership experience in large organisations.
• Experience managing P&L and customer performance metrics.
• Wind energy sector experience is desirable.
• Fluent in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and improvement of safety within the area, staying compliant with HSE legislation.
• Lead the service team in the area, plan, set goals and review performance and KPIs.
• Manage customer relationships in the area to ensure satisfaction.
• Review market demands and opportunities for new contracts and aftermarket sales.

Your Mission

The Area Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the business is operating safely, with profitability and high levels of customer satisfaction within their area of responsibility.

The role collaborates closely with external customers and suppliers, sales, project installation management, global service functions and support functions to ensure a safe and profitable service business in the respective area.

Your Profile

Competencies/Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• Formal qualifications in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering desired
• Business management qualification/experience highly desirable
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and local language
• 5+ years of disciplinary leadership
• Experience in the wind energy sector is desired
• Worked in large matrix organizations
• Experience managing P&L’s & and customer management and performance metrics
• Strong negotiation skills Experience of managing remote field-based teams

Your Task

• Responsible for safety and improvement of safety within the area keeping up to date with HSE legislation and company safety rules
• Lead the service team in the area, planning, setting goals and reviewing performance and KPIs
• Manage the customer relationships in the area to ensure customer satisfaction
• Review market demands and opportunities for new contracts
• Deliver on after-market sales opportunities in the area
