Job summary

Nordex Group in Chile seeks an Area Service Manager to lead safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction across the specified area. You will ensure compliance with HSE legislation and company safety rules while coordinating external customers, suppliers, and service teams.

You will drive planning, set goals and KPIs, manage customer relationships, assess market opportunities for new contracts, and pursue after-market sales growth in the region. Strong leadership and P&L skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering desired.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and local language.
• 5+ years of disciplinary leadership.
• Experience in the wind energy sector is desired.
• Worked in large matrix organizations.
• Experience managing P&L’s and customer management and performance metrics.
• Strong negotiation skills; experience of managing remote field-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safety and improvement of safety within the area keeping up to date with HSE legislation and company safety rules.
• Lead the service team in the area, planning, setting goals and reviewing performance and KPIs.
• Manage the customer relationships in the area to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Review market demands and opportunities for new contracts.
• Deliver on after-market sales opportunities in the area.

The Area Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the business is operating safely, with profitability and high levels of customer satisfaction within their area of responsibility.

The role collaborates closely with external customers and suppliers, sales, project installation management, global service functions and support functions to ensure a safe and profitable service business in the respective area.
