Job summary

Siemens Gamesa in Chile is seeking a Service Operations Planner to ensure efficient maintenance across our onshore wind farms. You will coordinate maintenance schedules, technicians, tools, spare parts, and service orders, working with site teams to have resources available where needed.

You will use SAP and planning tools to manage work orders, allocate resources, monitor execution, and identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency, minimize downtime, and support the reliable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Industrial Management, or related field.
3–5 years in maintenance planning, scheduling, service operations or operational coordination.
Experience with SAP PM/MM for maintenance planning and work orders.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
Experience coordinating logistics, materials, and multiple stakeholders.
Strong analytical and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office, Excel; KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize short- and medium-term maintenance schedules with site teams and weather considerations.
Manage maintenance activities and service orders in SAP (Work Orders, notifications, task lists, maintenance plans).
Coordinate technician teams and resources via MRS for efficient dispatch to wind turbine sites.
Ensure availability of tools, lifting equipment, spare parts and materials for maintenance and retrofit activities.
Monitor execution against KPIs; identify deviations and improvement opportunities.
Communicate with site teams, regional ops, procurement and logistics to ensure safe, timely service.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Service Operations Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient execution of maintenance activities across our onshore wind operations in Chile. Your day will involve coordinating maintenance schedules, technician teams, tools, spare parts, and service orders, working closely with site teams and other stakeholders to ensure resources are available when and where they are needed. You will use SAP and planning tools to manage work orders, allocate resources, monitor execution, and identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency, minimize downtime, and support the reliable operation of our wind turbine fleet.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Develop and optimize short- and medium-term maintenance schedules, coordinating planned activities with site teams, technician availability, weather conditions, and operational requirements.
Manage maintenance activities and service orders in SAP, including Work Orders, notifications, task lists, maintenance plans, retrofit campaigns, and related service documentation.
Coordinate technician teams and resource allocation through MRS (Multiple Resource Scheduling), assigning service orders, building teams, and supporting the efficient dispatch of technicians to wind turbine sites.
Coordinate the availability of specialized tools, auxiliary lifting equipment, safety equipment, spare parts, and materials required for scheduled maintenance and retrofit activities.
Monitor maintenance execution and key performance indicators related to schedule compliance, resource utilization, and asset downtime, identifying deviations and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain effective communication with site teams, regional operations, procurement, logistics, and other stakeholders to ensure safe, timely, and efficient service execution.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Industrial Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, service operations, or operational coordination, preferably within wind power, renewable energy, or heavy industrial environments.
Proven experience using SAP, preferably SAP PM/MM, for maintenance planning, Work Order management, service orders, materials, and resource coordination.
Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, preventive maintenance scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
Experience coordinating logistics, materials, technical resources, and multiple stakeholders in a service or maintenance environment.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to monitor operational KPIs and prepare reports.
