Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineering Manager with JavaScript to join our global AI Engineering team and lead enterprise‑grade GenAI initiatives at scale. You will mentor engineers, shape frontend architectures, and collaborate with product and backend teams to deliver secure, real‑time AI experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript, React, TypeScript and modern frontend state management libraries.
• 1+ years of leadership or team lead experience, mentoring engineers and coordinating initiatives.
• Solid software development background across web apps, client-side SDKs, APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI UIs, conversational UX or real-time streaming interfaces (SSE/WebSockets).
• Strong knowledge of chat assistants and prompt UI patterns.
• Python backend development and integrating cloud-native REST APIs on AWS/Docker.
• Experience contributing to UI component libraries, design systems, or developer SDKs.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+) with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the frontend architecture roadmap, component libraries and real-time streaming features for AI agents.
• Design high-performance frontend solutions with low latency streaming and AI interaction patterns.
• Lead and mentor engineers, ensure technical quality and alignment on shared components.
• Support frontend interfaces and SDKs bringing AI capabilities to employees and customers.
• Define AX (Agentic Experiences) architectural approaches on web and mobile, with real-time response streaming.
• Promote frontend observability, accessibility (WCAG) and operational excellence.
• Develop reusable full-stack integration frameworks and platform capabilities for GenAI tools.
• Collaborate with product, UX and backend teams on AI copilots interaction patterns.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams for day-to-day execution.
