NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager with extensive Band 6 acute experience to lead bed management across two acute hospitals. You will coordinate bed allocation, improve patient flow, and ensure cross-site communications. A UK driving licence is required and a degree with NMC registration is essential.

Formación

• Extensive Band 6 level experience in an acute setting.
• Degree level education or equivalent post-registration experience.
• Flow experience and extended skills (IV cannulation, IV administration, ALS).
• NMC Registration Part 1–Part 12.
• Proven team-working skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day in-patient bed allocation.
• Coordinate and develop an operational framework for bed management.
• Establish and maintain communications with site staff to support bed efficiency.
• Ensure patient flow from ED to Receiving Wards and on to specialties.
• Handle area closures to protect patient services.
• Adhere to bed management policies.
