Job summary

All4Chefs.com seeks an Asian Specialty Chef for a 5-star Alpine resort in the Swiss Alps. The role is a winter season (4-month contract) based in the Valais Alps near Sion, Switzerland, in a teppanyaki and sushi restaurant within a prestigious mountain hotel.

Responsibilities include preparing sushi, sashimi and nigiri, supporting the teppanyaki kitchen, maintaining mise en place, fish handling and stock control, and upholding 5-star hygiene and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in sushi and Japanese/Asian cuisine, ideally in hotels or fine dining.
• Precise knife and rice skills.
• EU passport or permanent EU residence required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi, sashimi and nigiri.
• Support the teppanyaki and hot Asian kitchen.
• Mise en place, fish handling and stock control.
• Keep 5-star hygiene and presentation standards.
