Job summary

Genmab is seeking a Vice President, Business Operations Europe to design and build the regional commercial operating model, field operations, and governance across European markets. You will translate global priorities into pragmatic regional plans, ensure launch readiness, and lead analytics and performance management to support scalable commercial execution.

The role requires senior leadership experience in biotech/pharma, expertise in CRM and data-driven decision making, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, or related discipline.
• MBA/PhD/MD or similar preferred, especially with oncology or specialty care leadership experience.
• Executive education in strategy, marketing, general management, digital transformation, or healthcare leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and build the European Commercial Excellence & Operations model from scratch with governance, processes, tools, and forums.
• Translate global portfolio and launch priorities into regional execution plans adaptable by country teams.
• Establish launch readiness frameworks, scorecards, milestones, risk routines, and executive reporting.
• Partner with General Managers, Global Commercialization, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and country teams to define roles and readiness requirements.
• Design field operations infrastructure including CRM setup, territory design, account planning, segmentation, and field reporting.
• Develop future sales cycle and customer engagement model with clear progression, follow-up, and measurement.
