Revolution Medicines is expanding its European headquarters in Basel and seeking a Manager, Commercial Executive Operations for the CNE region. You will drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives and create scalable governance frameworks to align country, global, and regional priorities.

The role reports to the VP, General Manager, CNE Region and requires strong business acumen and partnerships with leadership teams across global functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 8+ years experience leading highly complex cross-functional programs in biopharma or life sciences.
  • Experience in project management, business operations, or chief-of-staff roles.
  • Project management certification required or in progress.
  • Proven ability to influence governance and deliver strategic outcomes across global operations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with speed.
  • Strong event management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across functions and cultures.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.
  • Must be based in Basel.

Responsibilities

  • Assist CNE leadership and stakeholders to execute complex cross-functional initiatives across CNE operations.
  • Support and maintain integrated governance frameworks with alignment to country, global and regional priorities.
  • Own the regional calendar and manage strategic meetings across time zones.
  • Lead planning and execution of internal CNE events, including annual kick-offs and quarterly cycles.
  • Coordinate monthly CNE Leadership Team and governance meetings, with agenda setting and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with project coordinators and operational teams in European Commercialization for a connected team.
  • Plan international travel itineraries, including visas, accommodations, and contingencies.
  • Ensure operational excellence, budget tracking, reporting and documentation integrity.
  • Coordinate internal contract management and purchasing across functions and affiliates with Governance.

The Opportunity:

Revolution Medicines is establishing its European headquarters and expanding its presence across the CNE (Central, Northern, Eastern Europe) region. The Manager, Commercial Executive Operations, CNE Region role leads the execution of high-complexity, cross-functional initiatives that ensure operational readiness, governance, and alignment across the European region. Serving as an operational support to the VP, General Manager, CNE Region, this individual drives the design and implementation of scalable frameworks that enhance business integration and cross-regional collaboration. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong business acumen, and can build trusted partnerships across leadership teams and global functions.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist CNE leadership team, cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to execute complex, crossfunctional initiatives across CNE operations.
  • Support and maintain integrated governance frameworks and ensure strategic alignment with country, global and regional priorities.
  • Own a fast-paced regional calendar, managing strategic meetings across time zones.
  • Lead planning and execution of internal CNE events, including annual kick-offs and quarterly cycle meetings.
  • Lead organization of monthly CNE Leadership Team meetings and CNE governance meetings, including agenda setting, minute taking, follow up tracking and logistics.
  • Work in close collaboration with other project coordinators and operational team members in European Commercialization to ensure a connected and engaged team.
  • Plan and execute international travel itineraries including flights, ground transport, visas, accommodations, and contingency planning. Ensure seamless transitions between engagements and proactive resolution of travel disruptions.
  • Ensure operational excellence, budget tracking, transparent reporting and documentation integrity.
  • Lead coordination of internal contract management and purchasing across functions and affiliates, ensuring alignment with Legal, Compliance and Finance governance.
  • Support and coordinate office setup activities across CNE and affiliate sites under Finance, Legal, and HR governance.
  • Drive ad hoc tasks of various sizes and complexity.
  • Build trusted relationships across the organization and externally to faciliatete effective collaboration.
  • Handle confidential matters with utmost discretion and professionalism.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 8+ years experience with progressive responsibilities leading highly-complex, cross-functional programs within the biopharma or life sciences industry.
  • Experience in project management, business operations, or chief-of-staff roles.
  • Project management certification required or in progress.
  • Proven ability to influence governance and deliver strategic business outcomes across global operations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and speed.
  • Strong event management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
  • Demonstrated understanding of governance structures and compliance principles in a regulated industry.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset.
  • Must be based in Basel.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams in a regional or global matrix organization.
  • Familiarity with European affiliate operations, business systems, and internal policy frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana).
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a start-up or scale-up environment.
