Job summary

Reuters, based in Zug, Switzerland, seeks a Vice President of AI Editorial Innovation to lead the innovation agenda across Editorial Product and AI Editorial. You will shape strategies, drive AI-enabled workflows, and partner with legal and compliance to ensure responsible deployment while guiding planning, governance, and executive communications.

You will oversee Strategy & Business Operations and Royalties modernization, build scalable programs, and cultivate cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

10+ years in product, technology, or operations leadership in media/editorial environment.
Direct experience leading product management and/or AI teams.
Proven track record building innovation portfolios and scaling initiatives.
Experience leading through senior functional leaders and cross-functional teams.
Based in or willing to relocate to Zug, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

Partner with Product Management (Editorial) and AI Editorial to shape direction for both functions.
Define and drive the roadmap for how AI reshapes editorial products, content workflows, and ways of working.
Establish guardrails for AI use in editorial work with legal and compliance.
Set planning, innovation, and operating cadence for the editorial leadership team; prioritize and allocate resources.
Build reporting and dashboards for senior leadership visibility on progress and value.
Lead Strategy & Business Operations to resolve structural issues and enable faster delivery.
Oversee Royalties innovation and modernization in collaboration with Royalties leadership.
