Zusammenfassung

Alstom in Zurich is seeking a VIE / Student to join the Site Quality team and support quality assurance activities. You will work with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Project Management, and Operations to monitor quality, document control, and data-driven improvements.

You’ll contribute to Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP), dashboard development, and problem-solving initiatives using 8D, QRQC, and FMEA. Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Quality Management or Engineering.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IRIS) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI, Excel VBA, SharePoint or similar digital tools.
• Lean Six Sigma training or academic exposure is appreciated.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with strong communication skills.
• Internship or academic project in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations is preferred.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your passion for quality management and continuous improvement in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You’ll contribute to customer satisfaction by supporting quality assurance activities, performance monitoring, quality documentation management, problem-solving initiatives, and continuous improvement projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Supplier Quality, Project Management, and Operations), assist in quality process compliance assessments, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of supporting Service Business in PRQSM activities : Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP) and customer satisfaction initiatives, but also contribute to digitalization and data-driven quality improvements.

We’ll look to you for:

• Participating in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving activities using tools such as 8D, QRQC, and FMEA.
• Contributing to quality improvement projects aimed at reducing Cost of Non-Quality (CoNQ) and improving operational performance.
• Developing and maintaining quality dashboards and performance reports.
• Handling NCR process in service
• Supporting internal quality audits and process compliance assessments.
