Zusammenfassung

Alstom in Zurich seeks a Junior Project Engineering Manager / Junior Product Manager Traction (f/m/d) to lead international traction projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, procurement, and operations.

You will report to the Traction PrEM Manager CH and work with teams in Switzerland, India, France and Germany to keep milestones on track, manage costing schedules, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Strong experience coordinating multi-country projects across teams.
• Experience with PowerBI, Power Automate, and SharePoint is expected.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your traction project engineering and product management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Manuel SAUTER - Traction PrEM MAnager - CH, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated international teammates. You’ll specifically take care of delivering international traction projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Advance Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Operations, Requirements Managers, Customers and Suppliers).You’ll be the person the team turns to for momentum and to push projects forward. No two days are the same, but day-to-day you’ll manage costing schedules, enable those around you to excel, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of:

• Assist the Project Enineering Manager in monitoring the progress and status of Engineering progress.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple countries (Switzerland, India, France, and Germany) to ensure timely updates to the project dashboard, providing clear visibility of project milestones, risks, and critical points.
• Follow up with team members to ensure that they are filling the reporting with accurate and up-to-date information.
• Assist in the management of a checklist to assess the maturity of the project design, tracking tasks and deliverables for continuous improvement.
• Support communication and knowledge sharing among project stakeholders to promote collaboration and efficiency.
• Contribute to project reporting and documentation to facilitate decision-making and project transparency.
• Implement and automate new standard project reporting.
• Synchronise and standardize project reporting with other sites in France

We’ll look to you for:

• Actively contribute to Project performance
• Alert in case of deviations impacting project objectives, actively contribute to return of expirience mnagement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules, instructions and standards, process & tools, Code of Ethics & Compliance, Environment Health & Safety and Quality
• Plan, monitor, control and manage project end-to-end activities (scope, schedule, resources, cost)
• Coordinate and support consistent cross-functional execution objectives, activities and deliverables (Engineering, R&D programs, Procurement, Supply Chain, Indus when applicable, Reliability Availability Maintainability Safety (RAMS), etc.)
• Lead teams in successful achievement of project objectives, synchronize stakeholders at traction level and ensure stakeholder alignments

All About You

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Very good knowledge of PowerBI, PowerAutomate or SharePoint and SharePoint list
• Passion for project management
• Capacity to coordinate and ensure collaboration of multi-site/multi-meter teams
• Being able to understand the organization, the processes and the products involved and decide independently when significant impact on QCD make it necessary to involve next level
• Ability to gain and apply insight from every project
