Zusammenfassung

Alstom in Zurich is seeking a VIE / Student to join the Site Quality team and support quality assurance activities. You will work with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Project Management, and Operations to monitor quality, document control, and data-driven improvements.

You’ll contribute to Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP), dashboard development, and problem-solving initiatives using 8D, QRQC, and FMEA. Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Quality Management or Engineering.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IRIS) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI, Excel VBA, SharePoint or similar digital tools.
• Lean Six Sigma training or academic exposure is appreciated.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with strong communication skills.
• Internship or academic project in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support the preparation, update, and monitoring of Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP).
• Assist in coordinating project quality deliverables and action plans.
• Participate in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving using 8D, QRQC, and FMEA.
• Contribute to quality improvement projects to reduce Cost of Non-Quality (CoNQ).
• Develop and maintain quality dashboards and performance reports.
• Handle NCR process in service and support internal quality audits.
