Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking an Account Manager – Vascular for Central and East Switzerland. You will develop and support therapies from our High Growth Technologies portfolio and grow core products with existing and new customers.

The role requires a degree in biomedical engineering (or related) or commercial/clinical education, 3–5 years in sales of intensive products, and strong MS Office skills with German and English. Travel and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in biomedical engineering or comparable degree or commercial/clinical education (MTA/MTRA).
• Ideally 3–5 years of professional experience in sales of consulting intensive products, ideally in medical technology.
• Open, positive personality and enjoy selling high-quality clinical products.
• Proven commercial acumen with a determined deal-closing strength.
• Good MS Office skills, German and English; French is beneficial.
• High willingness to travel and for flexible working hours.
• Resident in the sales area; driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support therapies with our High Growth Technologies portfolio (e.g. Drug-Eluting Stents and Balloons, EKOS for Pulmonary Embolism, Atherectomy- and Thrombectomy-systems).
• Grow our Core products (e.g. Stents, Balloons, Guidewires) at existing and new customers.
• Strong and constant alignment of customer activities with the other team members.
• Competent contact for the medical management, the medical staff as well as the purchasing department.
• Preparation and execution of all relevant negotiations in a safe and secure manner.
• Creation of customer-specific sales concepts including successful implementation.
• Organizing workshops for training purposes, accompanying customers to master classes and visits to (international) congresses.
