Job summary

World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva is seeking a UX Lead to drive user experience research and design across WIPO’s external and internal digital ecosystem. You will define governance, align stakeholders, and ensure accessible, usable interfaces that meet organizational standards.

You will establish research standards, mentor teams in applying insights to product development, oversee external UX consultants, and push for measurable improvements in user satisfaction and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in UX design or related discipline.
• A first-level degree with two years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
• Seven years of progressive relevant UX experience including user research.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee implementation of WIPO’s UX strategy.
• Define user research standards across the organization.
• Advocate for the user perspective in design processes.
• Provide expert advice on improving user experience of external applications.
• Drive product design and user journeys to improve satisfaction and outcomes.
• Participate as expert adviser in product development meetings and agile ceremonies.
• Foster innovation by integrating market trends into UX strategy.
• Ensure designs meet usability, sustainability and accessibility standards.
• Oversee external UX consultants and validate deliverables.
• Define and monitor indicators to measure UX impact and use AI analytics where appropriate.
• Plan and conduct workshops to promote user-centricity.
• Perform other related duties as required.
