Job summary

Globus Travel Services in Lugano, Switzerland, is seeking a Travel Planning Specialist for the Planning and Coordination department. This full-time, on-site role supports the development and coordination of seasonal itineraries, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.

You will collaborate with internal departments and markets, maintain planning databases, draft website content, and prepare files for market launches.

Qualifications

• Participate in regular cross-departmental meetings.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lugano for a Travel Planning Specialist position within the Planning and Coordination department.

This position supports the development and coordination of seasonal travel itineraries, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards. The role involves close collaboration with internal departments and markets, contributing to the planning process and maintaining essential documentation and tools.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the creation and updating of seasonal travel itineraries

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
• Fluent in English; native or bilingual proficiency preferred
• Solid geographic and destination knowledge, including travel logistics, visa requirements, and regional regulations
• Degree in tourism or business would be considered a plus
• 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
