Job summary

Symlab AG in Switzerland is seeking a Test Engineer RF to verify complex RF systems and serve as the interface between engineering, quality and external test labs.

Responsibilities include RF measurements on systems, operation of RF test equipment, and planning/ supporting qualification tests (MIL, AECTP). You will analyze results and contribute to test automation with Python and Excel, collaborating with R&D and production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (EFZ / HF / FH / Bachelor or equivalent).
• Experience in RF testing and measurement environments.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g. VNA, spectrum analyzer).
• Experience in systematic troubleshooting and analysis of electronic systems.
• Strong analytical skills and structured working approach.
• Good English skills (read and understand technical documentation/datasheets).
• Experience with qualification testing (MIL, AECTP) or external test labs is a plus.
• Very good written and spoken German; good English skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Specify, plan and support qualification and environmental tests with external labs.

• Define and develop test concepts, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Support test automation and data evaluation (e.g. Python, Excel).
• Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and external partners.

Mastering the RF spectrum– Symlab AG was founded in 2016 and is growing steadily in the development and production of equipment such as jammers, receivers, transmitters, monitoring and classification devices, radio direction finders and antidrone equipment. Symlab AG, headquartered in Freienbach, is a subsidiary of Global Clearance Solutions AG, which eliminates explosive threats and enables the reconstruction of war-torn regions.

We are seeking a Test Engineer RF to join our team. In this role, you will focus on testing and verification of complex RF systems and act as a key interface between engineering, quality, and external test laboratories.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform RF measurements and verification on system level and subassemblies
