Job summary

Symlab AG, a subsidiary of Global Clearance Solutions AG, is building a new Service Department in Switzerland. Based in Ostermundingen, the role focuses on on-site and remote technical support for RF systems, training, and customer relations across diverse cultures.

The ideal candidate holds a technical degree and 3–5 years in service or after-sales management, with fluency in German and English and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in a technical field (Electrical/RF/Communications)
• 3-5 years in technical service, field service, customer support or after-sales management
• Hands-on mentality with on-site troubleshooting readiness
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across cultures
• Fluent in German and English; French/Arabic an advantage
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Build and establish the Service Department—defining strategy, processes, structures, and tools from the ground up
• Deliver technical customer support, remote and on-site, across RF systems
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and field service operations for maximum system availability
• Develop, implement, and improve SLAs, ticketing systems, and service processes
• Manage spare parts, inventory, and service logistics to support operations
• Conduct technical training sessions and customer workshops, in Switzerland and internationally
• Build long-term customer relationships and be the primary contact for key accounts
• Ensure accurate technical documentation and full compliance with service and quality standards

Your Responsibilities

• Build and establish the Service Department — defining strategy, processes, structures, and tools from the ground up
• Deliver technical customer support, both remote and on-site, across our portfolio of RF systems
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and field service operations to ensure maximum system availability
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve SLAs, ticketing systems, and service processes
• Manage spare parts, inventory, and service logistics to support efficient operations
• Conduct technical training sessions and customer workshops, both in Switzerland and internationally
• Build and nurture long-term customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts
• Ensure accurate technical documentation and full compliance with service and quality standards

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Technology, Communications Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong expertise in RF technology, communications engineering, and complex technical systems
• 3-5 years of experience in technical service, field service, customer support, or after-sales management
• Hands-on mentality, with a readiness to perform customer interventions and troubleshooting on-site
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and cultures
• Structured, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach to work
• Fluent in German and English; French and/or Arabic considered an advantage
• Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally
