Job summary

ALPINEO is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our team and work for a major IT partner in the ATM sector. You will be responsible for software testing of applications for the Air Traffic Management System, setting up automation and leading best practices in an Agile environment.

You will develop automated tests with Python/Java, use tools like Squish, JMeter, SoapUI, Citrus and JUnit, and contribute to the Testing Community of Practice. Fluency in English and French is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a safety critical domain.
• Proven experience in writing software testing.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate end-user needs into test cases.
• Autonomous, rigorous, and team-oriented with good time management.
• Fluent English and French; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up test automation frameworks and create automated tests using Squish, Citrus or Java Custom Junit frameworks.
• Analyse and describe issues/bugs in the issues database.
• Synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool.
• Lead by example with testing best practices (ATDD, BDD, TDD) in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to the Community of Practice "Testing".
