Qim info SA in Geneva is seeking an experienced System Integration & Test Engineer to join the Integration Verification & Validation team. The role focuses on development, validation, and continuous improvement of complex, safety-critical systems through testing and verification activities.

You will work with development, operations and engineering teams to deliver high-quality integrated solutions, contribute to test automation, and promote best practices in testing methodologies.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in system integration, verification & validation in complex environments.
• Experience with test automation and scripting using Python or Java.
• Strong test strategy and risk-based testing experience.
• Knowledge of APIs, networking, and distributed architectures.
• Experience with safety-critical systems; ATM domain knowledge is a plus.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Master's degree in CS/Engineering.
• Fluent in English and French; German is an advantage.

For one of our clients, a leading player in the aviation and Air Traffic Management (ATM) sector, we are looking for an experienced System Integration & Test Engineer to join their Integration Verification & Validation (IV&V) team.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development, validation, and continuous improvement of complex, safety-critical systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and operational readiness of integrated solutions through comprehensive testing and verification activities.

Profile

• 8+ years of experience in system integration, verification & validation, and testing within complex environments.
• Strong expertise in test automation (Squish, JMeter or equivalent) and scripting/development using Python, Java, or similar technologies.
• Solid background in defining test strategies, verification plans, and risk-based testing approaches.
• Good understanding of system integration, APIs, networking, and distributed architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in safety-critical systems is highly appreciated; ATM domain knowledge and familiarity with standards such as ISO 15288, ED-153, ED-109, or DO-178C are strong assets.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Comfortable working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and proactive approach.
• Fluent in English and French; German is an advantage.
