Job summary

Ivy Partners in Geneva seeks an Automated Java Tester to build and maintain automated tests, ensuring full traceability to requirements. You will read regulations, draft and refine component specs, and test against specifications using Java, JUnit, and our internal tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Specify software components, develop automated tests in Java to verify them, and ensure full traceability between requirements, tests, and results.
• Read and understand regulatory rules and the quality level required for products.
• Draft, review, and update component requirements based on system requirements of the equipment.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Java, JUnit, and our internal testing frameworks.
• Review and test components against their specifications.
• Link each test to the requirement it covers and keep the traceability matrix updated.
• Analyze test failures to identify root causes: component defects, test or requirement issues.
• Describe and track anomalies in JIRA.
• Participate in formal system acceptance tests as needed.

• You have proven experience in test automation with JUnit and Jenkins, preferably including the design or enhancement of a testing framework.
