Ivy Partners in Geneva is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our engineering team on strategic, regulated projects. You will contribute to the modernization of a critical legacy system and develop high-availability back-end services using Java, Spring and Maven.

You will apply TDD/BDD, automate tests with Java and Cucumber, and produce comprehensive documentation, while supporting QA and certification activities for air traffic management systems.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional experience developing complex software systems.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring and Maven.
• Experience with requirements engineering, verification & validation and software lifecycle documentation.
• Fluent English (written and spoken, C1 minimum).

• Produce and maintain system and software documentation, including requirements, design descriptions, test specifications and traceability artefacts.
• Take part in verification and validation activities, from test planning and execution to reporting, FAT and SAT.
• Support certification, compliance and quality assurance activities for Air Traffic Management systems.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, automation and software quality.

Your profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Aeronautics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing complex software systems, ideally within regulated or safety-critical environments.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring and Maven.
• Experience with requirements engineering, verification & validation and software lifecycle documentation.
• Fluent English (written and spoken, C1 minimum). French and/or German is a plus.
