Job summary

Ivy Partners in Switzerland is seeking a Requirement and Test Engineer to join an agile team focused on safety-critical systems. You will develop and maintain test cases, automate tests with Python, and ensure traceability to system requirements, while translating end-user needs into clear specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety-critical domains and complying with regulatory standards.
• Proven ability to write clear software documentation and requirements.
• Ability to translate user needs into actionable test cases and requirements.
• Experience with Python-based testing automation tools.
• Familiarity with real-time systems and security requirements.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously within an Agile team, maintaining a continuous improvement mindset.
• Collaborate with system end users and other teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.
• Interpret regulation rules and the quality levels that products must adhere to.
• Develop, review, and maintain test cases ensuring coverage of system requirements.
• Utilize Python to create and maintain automated tests.
• Support the writing, reviewing, and updating of component requirements, ensuring correct traceability to system requirements.
• Execute both manual and automated tests and report results.
• Analyze and describe issues or bugs in our issues database and perform root cause analysis.
