Job summary

TXT Group in Switzerland is seeking a Telco & Network Specialist to manage, maintain, and evolve enterprise network and telecom infrastructures. You will handle incident and ticket management, implement projects, and ensure SLA compliance while documenting activities and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities cover LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, and firewall support, with emphasis on Cisco solutions and collaboration with other vendors. On-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching.
• Hands-on Cisco networking experience.
• Experience in firewall management and troubleshooting.
• VPN technologies knowledge: IPsec and SSL VPN.
• Network monitoring and diagnostic tool experience.
• Knowledge of other networking and security vendors is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for corporate network and telecommunications infrastructures.
• Manage and resolve LAN, WAN, WLAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN issues.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and switching problems.
• Support upgrades, migrations, and optimisation activities.
• Provide first- and second-level support for firewall incidents.
• Manage firewall policies, NAT, VPN tunnels, and connectivity.
• Support firewall maintenance and security improvements.
• Troubleshoot firewall solutions, primarily Cisco, plus Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point.
• Participate in network projects from design to testing.
