Job summary

SwissPeak Partners GmbH in Zurich seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support networks for global customer sites. You will configure VPNs, maintain firewalls, and design switched VLAN-based networks, with Windows/Linux software deployment and lab infrastructure management.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on network/system engineering, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

Completed IT or electrical engineering education (EFZ with further training, HF, FH or equivalent).
At least three years of hands-on experience in network or system engineering.
Fluent German and English.
Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site work.
Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or Fortinet NSE are nice to have.

Responsibilities

Set up, run and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs (IPsec, OpenVPN).
Configure and maintain firewalls (Fortinet, OPNsense and others).
Design and implement networks at customer sites (switching, routing, VLANs, WLAN).
Install software on Windows and Linux systems.
Build and maintain internal test and lab networks.
Keep network documentation up to date and improve team processes.
